Wide short blade with slightly convex edges. Near-rectangular flat grip with rectangular in cross-section cross guard and ring-shaped pommel. Intact, surface covered with resoluble acrylic film.
Length 17.5" (44.5 cm).

Dacia

Slightly conical socket. Narrow long blade with triangular point. Part of the wooden shaft is preserved by the corrosion products inside. Intact.  Length 8.5" (21.6 cm).
There is a Roman spear-head similar to this, both in its shape and in its characteristic angular point in National Museums Scotland, dated to the first century.
